You may use this site to browse content, set up a fundraising blog or make donations. No misuse of the website will be tolerated and Doit4Charity reserves the right to cancel without notice the service to any individual or charity that does not comply with these terms and conditions.

No part of this site and its content may be copied, reproduced, republished, uploaded, posted, transmitted or distributed without permission. 'Deep-linking', 'embedding' or using analogous technology is strictly prohibited. Unauthorized use of this site and/or the materials contained on this site may violate applicable copyright, trademark or other intellectual property laws or other laws.

The owner of this site, the authors of these contents and in general anybody connected to this site in any way, assume no responsibility for errors or omissions in these contents.

The contents of this site are provided 'as is' without warranty of any kind, either expressed or implied including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a purpose and non-infringement. Privacy Policy
You can visit our website without telling us who you are or revealing any personal information about yourself. However, you should be aware that anonymous visitor information such as your IP address, browser type, referring pages and pages visited on the website may be automatically collected for statistical analysis of web traffic patterns.

Our web pages utilise "cookies" and other technologies which serve to recall personal information previously given by a Web user. Most browsers allow you to control cookies, including whether or not to accept them and how to remove them.

Disclosure Policy
If you do give us personal information – such as your name, home address or email address – in order to register or to make an online donation, we promise not to share these details with any third parties, other than those necessary to record and process your registration or donation.

If you register to set up a fundraising blog, your personal details will be passed on to your beneficiary charity.

If you register to make an online donation, your personal details will be passed on to the fundraiser you supported and the beneficiary charity. Your credit card details are not recorded on this website.

We may from time to time send e-mail announcing new events and giving feedback to supporters. Other than this, Doit4Charity will not send you e-mail that you have not agreed to receive. You may opt-out of receiving these emails at any time, by emailing info@doit4charity.co.za with ‘remove’ in the subject line.

Security policy
All online credit card transactions are processed by Netcash, which complies with and is 'Verified by Visa' and 'Mastercard Securecode'. Data is secured during transmission by using up to 256bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL) software, certified by Thawte.

Netcash servers are hosted behind multiple layered electronic firewalls to protect transactional and banking information against unauthorised access from third parties, loss and fraud.

All transactions are processed in South African Rand [ZAR].

Refunds
Should you wish for any reason to cancel your online donation, you may do so within seven (7) days and receive a full refund (less bank charges). Kindly notify us of any refund required by emailing info@doit4charity.co.za.

Fees
There is no charge for charities or fundraisers to use Doit4Charity. We simply deduct a small handling fee of 10% of the value of donation before passing the donation on to the charity concerned. This includes all bank fees for processing credit card payments.

Charities receive a lump sum payment directly into their bank account on or around the 15th day of the month following the month in which the donation was received.

Fundraisers

1. You must be eighteen (18) years or older to set up a fundraising blog on this website, the sole purpose of which is to encourage donations to a registered South African non-profit organisation.
2. You may not post or upload text and photographs that you did not create or that you do not have permission to use.
3. You may not post personal information of any third party, including addresses, phone numbers or email addresses.
4. You may not use this website to advertise or promote any commercial business or service.
5. You may not use this website to appeal for funds to be paid direct into your own or your organisation's bank account, or post links to other donation processing websites.
6. You may not falsely state or otherwise misrepresent yourself, your age or your intention to participate in a specific event in order to raise money for a non-profit organisation.
7. Doit4Charity will remove content deemed unacceptable for any reason without notice. Individuals posting content that we deem to be harmful, threatening, unlawful, defamatory, abusive, obscene, hateful, racist or otherwise objectionable, are liable to prosecution.
8. Whilst every effort is made to ensure that our website is accessible 24/7, Doit4Charity is not liable for interruptions in the service for whatever reason, and cannot be held responsible for donations not made as a result of the website being offline.
9. Doit4Charity reserves the right to cancel this service for any reason, giving participating charities and supporters one month's notice in writing.

Charities

1. Only bona fide non-profit organisations, registered in South Africa, are allowed to participate.
2. We require verification of bank account details in the form of copy of your organisation's bank statement signed by the CEO/Director/Trustee. This may be posted to PO Box 321 Kloof, 3640 or faxed to 086 673 6252. No payments will be made into your bank account until verification is provided.
3. Registration is free and there is no minimum contract period. You may cancel at any time.
4. All donations made through Doit4Charity attract a total fee of 10% of the value of the donation. This inlcudes all bank fees for processing credit card payments.
5. Fees may be adjusted from time to time. In the event of an increase in fees, one month's notice in writing will be given to you.
6. Lump sum payments are made monthly by EFT into the bank account specified on the registration form, on or around the 15th day of the month following the month in which the donation was received.
7. Requests for refunds from donors are granted automatically, provided they are made within 7 days of date of donation, and will be deducted from the total amount payable to you, less any fees payable.
8. Doit4Charity makes web pages available to your supporters in good faith, and will remove content deemed unacceptable for any reason without notice. Individuals posting content that we deem to be harmful, threatening, unlawful, defamatory, abusive, obscene, hateful, racist or otherwise objectionable, are liable to prosecution.
9. Notwithstanding our right to remove content, Doit4Charity cannot be held responsible for any such content that may be posted on supporters' web pages.
