At A Friend In Need we have a feeding scheme where we hand out food parcels to app 200 families every Monday morning. We also have 5 disabled children we support on a weekly basis with whatever they need and we have a library for the old people and children to do their homework on a daily basis. We need food for the food parcels on a regular basis to make sure the food parcels are sufficient to last for a week. We have started a sport acadamy in Swaneville near Krugersdorp to educate and keep children off the streets. We have volleyball, netball, soccer, rugby and athletics. We are starting from scratch and any help what so - ever will be highly appreciated.

Feed a Child's mission is to provide a nourishing meal to children whose circumstances beyond their control placed them on or below the poverty line, and to give them HOPE.

With a mission to eliminate malnutrition and promote health amongst babies of all races, Feed the Babies provides food to less privileged children through a feeding scheme controlled by the caregivers in the creches where they spend their day. Every child gets at least one nutritious meal a day, normally breakfast. The cost to feed a child for a full month is approximately R30 per month. We currently feed over 5000 children in 100+ creches throughout KZN.

Foodbank SA strives to utilize existing food resources more fully to feed South Africa's hungry through a nationwide network of Community Foodbanks, and engage our country in the fight to end hunger.
